D4 is an independent production company, with a flexible structure. It produces mainly documentaries about nature, science, history, culture and current affairs and participates to important co-production with partners such as Rai, European Union and Public Institutions.

D4 has its own equipment: video cameras, 2 dubbing studios, 1 sync/mixing room DolbyE 5.1, 2 sync/mixing rooms, 8 post production rooms and 1 graphics/color correction room, which allow to operate in direct and prompt way in each productive stage. The cooperation with prestigious directors and authors guarantees the possibility to realize operations of production in every direction.
